Arkaim
to the wisemen for advise
Tempera on canvas. 2002. 75 х 85 cm
The archeological excavations of Arkaim indicate big number of people located inside the town at the same time. Interesting that unique architecture of the town was pre-designed and the town was build at once, on the sole platform being the prototype of foundation. There were pavements, water supply and other amenities in this ancient town which are not in all villages even today.
Strange, why such enhanced town design was not able to provide more spacious habitations for the people? And what for are the copper furnace in almost every house? Only if people spent short time there, let's say as students in dormitory or pupils of craftman in workshops...
The painting depicts my own version of Arkaim mission.
