Underwater World
Being a fairly experienced diver, I have been inspired by the underwater world for many years, I love to study and examine it. Traces of underwater life can be seen in all my paintings since 2010 - there is more fluidity. But the images of fish themselves, for some reason, almost never came to me... And suddenly, when it turned out that I was on the shore, the fish went to the canvases!
In short, to put it briefly - I finally got around to the fish! Hurray! Hurray!
And many of the fish are not located just like that, they encode letters of the Brahmi alphabet and the Sanskrit alphabet. Brahmi is one of the oldest varieties of Indian syllabic writing, the ancestor of almost all the alphabets of Southeast Asia. Each letter in it has its own special meaning, read the comments and find out!
My fish, don't pout
20x20 cm. Mixed media on canvas. 2024
This is an artifact of reconciliation, you could say. The puffer fish, so prickly, poisonous and dangerous, becomes so only if you offend it. That's why they called it the Hedgehog in other classifications. An unoffended hedgehog is cute and nice. This picture shows a mini-drama of the fish world - the female is pouting, well, what can you do - it happens. And the male swims nearby, as if glued, and seems to persuade his wife: My fish, my little fish, don't pout... And around there are corals, sea lilies, all sorts of micro creatures... Life, life, LIFE!!! And a deep, alluring blue!

You are my only one, like the moon in the night
20x20 cm. Mixed media on canvas. 2025
A new work was born based on the poems of Yuri Vizbor. All my love is in it. The fish symbolizes eternal life, prosperity, health, happiness in the cultures of many peoples. The location of the fish and the Moon in the center repeats the outlines of the letter of the Sanskrit alphabet, Brahmi - tha - थ - literally this is EXHALE. Each letter of the Sanskrit alphabet Brahmi also denotes - levels of consciousness, different eras in the universe, energies and feelings. The letter थ is literally the process of EXHALE OF THE UNIVERSE by Garbhodakshaya Vishnu, who creates the Universe. The picture tells us - exhale, a deep good BREATHE IN and Exhale! Breathing through the picture (we imagine in the mind) will help to saturate yourself with the forces you need.
Father's happiness

The letter pha फ in the Brahmi alphabet b - pha. It means the space of personal awareness, being in the understanding of the goal and personal tasks. An artifact of strength and self-confidence for dads.

My team
20x20 cm. Mixed media on canvas. 2025
The title of the painting was born from a tender childhood memory. Dad called us - three daughters and mom - my team.)
In the composition you can see ए - Brahmi and अ - Devanagari. This is the letter A, or rather aaaaaa.
Reflection on the similarity of processes, as we slowly release air underwater, during an emergency ascent with the sound a-a-a-aaa.... (divers know)) and the sound -a- as an illustration of the process of multiplication of the Universe.
The letter -A- in Devanagari and in Brahmi is the ABSOLUTE - the highest divine creative principle. At our level, a good dad is the Creator of the micro-world of the family. Simply put - a seahorse is an example of a dad. Well, also, I played up team sports with balls - since the sphere with the sign अ in the center is another symbol of the Universe in a state of development and growth.
The painting is an artifact for dads

Mother of the Year
20x20 cm. Mixed media on canvas. 2025
Born on January 3 at dawn.
Physically - this is about a fish that grows its young in its mouth and has found a quiet place under the corals, where there is a lot of plankton and releases its children to graze. Spiritually - this is an artifact of mother's protection.
Here is also encrypted the letter of the Sanskrit alphabet and the Brahmi alphabet, म má - mátha - Mother of the world.
This letter is the patron of motherhood. In the most ancient lists of Ashoka of the Brahmi alphabet, this letter is written like this - b - I played with both spellings. This is how the word mata looks in Sanskrit, the Devanagari alphabet - मठ
This fish is very, very good, it plays in different lights, the fry are like alive ... Some details are created in my new technique of volumetric mosaic! With such a FISH, you can be calmer about the children. Look into her eyes, she's alive! Oh, powerful!
Grandfather
20x20 cm. Mixed media on canvas. 2025
This is a lionfish - which is very strange, because it is more of a tiger than a lion. In any case, it is a beautiful fish. The fish is prickly and dangerous, the fins are bright for a reason, they burn like fire! Small lionfish usually hide during the day among corals, mostly fiery, stinging ones. In the early evening, you can see many lionfish moving to hunt ... If you are lucky.
दादाजी - dadaji - grandfather in Hindi, तजि - in Brahmi. The letter da - द in the teaching of tattvas, means - vision, the energy circulating in the eyes.
Fire corals around - symbolize protection.
This work is an artifact for protecting vision and strength, health for the elderly, mutual understanding with the younger generation, protection in general.
Careful attitude
20x20 cm. Mixed media on canvas. 2025
The painting depicts fish passing eggs to each other, other eggs are already conveniently located in the middle of the anemone, some already have eyes and tails.
This is about the fact that happiness does not happen where there is rudeness. Happiness is where they take care.
The painting is an artifact of a cozy life. Mutual understanding. The title speaks for itself. Very often we do not notice how we hurt each other. A caring attitude in everything is wonderful! Let there be tenderness and care in your lives, friends. Let there be joy and love!!!
