Trees

A series of paintings «Trees» reflects my attitude to the trees as to alive creatures which transform dark and murky energy of soil and mineral world to the clear and light energy of air which is used by all people, animals and birds for their life. In legends of some primeval tribes, trees are holding our world penetrating heaven and earth with invisible iridiscent threads originating from branches, roots and leaves. I do respect trees for this hard work very much and try to show their inner energy in my artworks. Fluorescent pigments were used in all these painting to better express the sensation of invisible energy penetrating the material world. Colors are changing depending on light applied (daylight, usual and black light).
