Exhibition "There Heaven walks the Earth" at Roerich estate in Naggar (International Roerich Memorial Trust, IRMT)

The cooperation with the International Roerich Memorial Trust began in 2016, then the exhibition hall of IRMT held Lola Lonli's solo exhibition "From ancient legends to the New World". And when Lola started new series of paintings inspired by travels along the routes of Roerich's expeditions in the Himalayan valleys, we addressed the Russian curator of the IRMT L.V. Surgina with a proposal to hold an exhibition of this series, and we are very grateful to her for organizing the exhibition exactly in the days of the festival dedicated to the 145th anniversary of N.K. Roerich.

Representatives of the local authorities of Naggar and the Russian Embassy in India were present as guests of honor at the grand opening of the exhibition held on October 9, 2019. The guests of the opening were also representatives of many Roerich organizations from Russia and other countries who came to participate in the Festival.

At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Indian curator of IRMT Ramesh Chander, welcoming the artist from Russia, said that her paintings carry light and beauty in them and are very close in spirit to the traditional Indian art, which is based on inner spiritual vision and meditation.
Larisa Surgina, Russian Curator of the IRMT, who works in the Trust on deputation from the International Centre of the Roerichs (Moscow), noted that Lola Lonli's paintings reflect the spiritual life of the Himalayas, the mysterious world that is told about by myths and which can only be seen through the eyes of the heart.

Traditionally, while the exhibition was open, Lola held workshops of tempera painting for the students of the Helena Roerich Academy of Arts (IRMT) and for tourists
